Cute Lemur

Here is one of the four lemurs that they have at Beaver Water World near Biggin Hill in Kent. We popped down there for a couple of hours this afternoon. The whole park is full of rescued or unwanted animals... mainly birds and reptiles.

Their lemurs are old and used to be part of a family group at Tropiquaria animal park in Somerset but the group became too large for the park to house them all. They have come to Kent for their retirement!



In other news, I have been feeling very proud of myself today as, after about 8 months of quietly dieting, I have shed the necessary amount and reached my target weight. Hooray! Now the real challenge begins of maintaining it. I hope I can do it.
