At the car boot sale

This morning a got a text from a friend of mine asking me if I wanted to go with her to the car boot sale near the Omni Centre. Every Sunday, in the car park near the Omni Centre here in Edinburgh, there is a flea market where people gather with their cars to get rid of stuff they don't want anymore at very reasonable prices.

As it didn't involve too much walking (there is a bus that takes me from door to door), I decided to go. I bought a couple of dvd's for £1.00 each, a dress for £1.00, a scarf for 50p, a candle holder for 50p and a wee gift for a friend. In total, I spent less than £10.00. Not bad. Then we sat down at a terrace next to the Omni centre to have a drink and, after that, I took the bus back home. No more walking today, so I'm planning to stay at home resting for the rest of the day.
