Jerusalem

To continue the Middle East tour with my mom we went to Jerusalem, Israel. We made out way the hour drive from Amman to the Israeli border to the many long lines that make up the Israeli Customs process. It was longer lines and more crowded then I had experienced in March when I first went to Israel, but nothing like I experienced in Istanbul. I hope nothing ever compares to the nightmare that was Istanbul Customs. Whoa!!!

My mom got a nice big introduction to the crowded and dirty insanity that is the Israeli Boarder, but we were lucky and after a very small interrogation from the Customs officer to me since it was my second time to Israel, we made it through pretty quickly. The whole process only took about 4/5 hours. Not bad at all. Seriously, pretty quick!

We stayed at a very nice hotel, which I actually never left because I had to finish up my thesis draft, but it was a nice place so that turned out ok. My mom got to see the main attraction that she wanted to see, the Garden of Gethsemane. So...success!
