Barnacle Bill

I went on a whale watching cruise from Port Stephens today. There were plenty of them (humpbacks) out there but you had to be a member of the secret club for them to do their party tricks near you. Lots of far away breaches. A spy hole up close and a tail slap but generally they were just moseying along. There was more action on board as two older fellows got to a bit of pushing and shoving over a vantage point. They had to be separated. Tsk tsk. If I had any sense I would have photographed that. On the way back we saw some fur seals on Cabbage Tree Island.

Beautiful weather we are having. Just back from having drinks with my lovely neighbours. Hope you all had a good weekend.

Oh and this is a relatively young one.
