Shirts in a Closet

6/21/2014 ~ Shirts in a Closet, Wallingford Neighborhood, Seattle, WA

Some early chores outside early this morning the rest of the day spent indoors. Moved into the current house, which was built in 1911. eleven years ago and over time have had the hot water heater and furnace replaced, had the roof replaced, the exterior and interior of the house repainted, replaced 9 of the 11 windows, and the normal ongoing maintenance, which seams to never end.

Well next up is having the hardwood floors redone in mid-july which means clearing out four rooms, two closets, four cabinets, china closet and cabinet, four book cases, and all the furniture from the two bedrooms, dinning room and living room. The kitchen and bathroom have tile floors, thank goodness.

So since I was on-call this weekend and could not stray too far from the house the packing and moving things down stairs began today. Did a lot of packing, tossing out, and moving three bookcases and a number of boxes to the downstairs living area.

When it came to getting a blip of the day, I went outside for about 20 minutes this evening, came home and when I looked at the images there was nothing that caught the eye. So as I looked over at the closet from where I was sitting at the computer the shirts caught my eye, I liked the color and the folded material visible with some of the shirts and decided that would be the blip for today.

On-call will continue tomorrow and so will the packing and moving to try and get as much done ahead of the work date. All the large pieces of furniture will have to be removed from the house while the floors get sanded and re-finished.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day in Seattle and would have loved to spend more time outdoors. I do hope you all are having a fabulous weekend!
