Rita's Swash

To celebrate finishing act 3, I took a long walk by the bluffs... Several years ago I wrote a story in verse about a sand crab named Rita who loved purple plankton. This is where Rita lived.. her swash in the Santa Monica Bay.

That was my first big "weaving with words and weft" project... The story was illustrated with twenty tapestries done by me and five other tapestry artists. Buy the book and/or see the tapestries exhibited in October at Concordia University.
