Bloomin' lovely.....

Did I tell you that Sadie and Logan are off to France next week? (No, not on their own - they're smart, but not yet allowed to shimmy around Europe sans mama et papa!)

Anyway, yesterday, Sadie demonstrated the French she's learned so far (bonjour, oui, au revoir, moules mariniere, etc) and then some Spanish (hola, adios, gambas....) just in case they cross over the border.

It was all very impressive, but I was really amazed when she suddenly announced that she knew some Chinese as well. Assuming that they'd been learning Mandarin at school, I asked for a demonstration.

'Prawn crackers!', she said, highly delighted with herself.

The child will go far....but perhaps not to Beijing just yet.
