Southampton through the haze

Went to Southampton with W1; her to work me to stroll and Blip (Non Working Friday Hay Hay)
I went to the Itchen Country Park, named after the famous and very photogenic river used by Isaac Walton, or maybe it was Jim bob or John boy Walton.
Unfortunately the Itchen Country Park appears to be named because it runs along the fence that says River Itchen, Private Property Keep Out. At no point could I get down to the water to take pictures.
Never mind still a good day, including visit to my Mother, one of the few people in the world who I believe when she says she was really pleased to see me.
