Solstice Sunset

22:35 this evening about 5 minutes before the sun finally set.

Sun setting almost at the farthest west point of Shetland at Sandness in the far distance. Foula on the horizon at the left and of course St Ninians Isle centre stage.

Was not promising to be such good evening for the Simmer Dim as the day started wet but came good in the end. By this time there must have been 20 - 30 people watching the sunset from the same vantage point.
