Independence

I noticed this marigold growing on the outside of the little garden next to the shed. Our garden is like a jungle at the moment, since the rain while we were away. The lawn has been taken over by knee high weeds.

But in between the overgrowth is little pockets of determined flowers that grow despite being ignored.

Had my hair done today which is time I give myself every couple of months to just drop off the face of the earth for a couple of hours. No one contacts me and I just get to browse through magazines and think my own thoughts - bliss!!
