Leaver's Assembly

It was Aidan's nursery leavers' assembly today - hard to imagine that that's him only got one week of nursery left before starting primary one after the holidays. It doesn't seem that long ago that he started school nursery, and the thought of him starting school properly just does not compute.

So, for the past few weeks, the nursery staff have been telling the kids all about moving up to the big school - they've been learning their songs all about moving up & learning their 'ABCs' and so on, and seem suitably excited at the prospect. It was great seeing them signing their songs at the assembly, and they all got a certificate & pencil case as a prize.
