Houdini...

...not! But very funny.

It was the Bridgewater Festival today so I decided to go down and have a mooch. I went early and sat on the Green with my book in the sunshine. There were tables and chairs set out for afternoon tea and some quirky singers warming up. Canal boats were sailing down from Barton and I thought they would make a colourful pic, but their flags and decorations were very disappointing. I bumped into Jennifer and so we had a wander round the Green and then we headed off for The Waterside in Monton.

We sat out and were entertained by 'A Really Super Escapologist'....or ARSE as he is commonly known. The two performers, The Maniacs, were very silly, but very funny.
