Grace may not have the ruby slippers but she has the harness!

An early start to deliver the birthday cake for the youngest grandson's party. We decided to spend the day together not surrounded by hyper kids. Naughty Nanny and Grandad.

That done, we stopped at Pevensey Castle to give the pups a walk before driving to Rye to walk around the Nature Reserve we found last week. Good choice today. The breeze was welcome to keep the heat away. The tide was right out. The Camber side was busy while the side we were walking was almost deserted. A few other walkers and cyclists. Perfect :)

Fellow diners in the cafe greatly admired the pups, expressing the usual surprise they are littermates. We ate lunch sat outside. The pups had titbits of ham, prawns and salmon. Not that they are spoilt or anything. Home via a bakery to pick up cakes for the kids.

Back at home the pups had a play in the garden to shake off travelling before falling asleep until teatime. They really do have a dog's life.
