Made in GB
We don't make very much these days in 'Great Britain'. Certainly not many decent sports teams, compared with other smaller nations...
My Morris Minor Traveller was made during a time (1970) when manufacturing started to take a downward turn. Not many cars from this time survive. The salt used on the roads here has seen to that.
Today my daughter sold her Morris Minor saloon. Built in 1968 it has seen quite a few new panels and at least two engines. It was bought by a couple who live in Coventry just down the road from where it and nearly all the other Morris Minors where built. In a way it has 'gone home'.
