Mercury and beyond

The village of Mercury nearby has a Church with some beautiful carvings covered in gold leaf and mounted on a fresco and I really wanted to see them again so we took another narrow twisting road up the mountainside. Unfortunately the Church was closed but as we turned to leave this view of the Mt Blanc range shouted to be blipped.
From the Fort at Tamie (980m) where we had a very pleasant woodland walk, we looked down on the town of Albertville.
