Love love me do

I have always been a sucker for red roses - initially growing in my childhood garden, followed by valentine offerings and a succession of red roses presented to me at school prize ceremonies.

Had less in recent years - not that I am moaning at my other half as he usually finds much more unique and interesting gifts for me - so from time to time, I do like to treat myself.

These are almost ready for the brown recycling bin which goes out on Monday morning, but they are still so luscious and beautifully shaped so today's snap will keep them alive forever ...
