Ben Wilson RIP (backblip)

We found this memorial to Ben Wilson of Holmshaw, killed by lightning in 1897, when we were out planting our treasure. Notable only because (a) I have an Uncle by that name and (b) I have a theory that my family may have originated in this general area. We might be related but I shall most likely never know, as my mother refuses to speak of her father. I know only his surname and that he was Scots. I theorise that he was a miner and came down to work in the Yorkshire coalfields. It's a bit weird, to know nothing about one's grandparents.
