Museo del Prado

A hugely memorable weekend in Madrid with a visit to Prado probably the highlight. This is a phenomenal art gallery housing the greatest works of Goya and Valezquez, but also works by Rubens and other greats.

It is huge and so takes several hours to get round. We only managed the first floor in approximately 3 hours, with a coffee break and a trip to the shop.

I'll need to go back there, as it's so magnificent.
