Mid Winter Pastels

The shortest day - the sunrise a non event!!  However, I did salvage this two minutes after the "official" sunrise (8.11 am), only lasting a few seconds then gone.  Just a touch of Impressionism today :)

Further to that though, the day turned out really nice, in fact rather mild with puffy nor west winds, quite unseasonable.

chrissybelle & I have spent much of the day working on images for the Bowron &/or George Chance Landscape Competition run by PSNZ (Photograph Soc of NZ).  Need only four images from four different authors....sounds easy but not so.  They need to work as a set, ie  colour, mood, structure, composition etc etc.  We have made progress, and will meet again tomorrow.

The final rugby Test between the All Blacks and England tonight - fingers crossed for a white wash.  Sorry all my English friends, in particular Gordon (High Pike).
