burning the midnight oil - almost

Today is hubby's real birthday (we celebrated early with the grandkids last week).
It started with the delivery of a very special recliner so he can snooze in the living room without having to put his feet up on the couch cushions. Then we went to the movies (The Jersey Boys - great music!). And lastly we had a celebratory meal with our daughter and a family friend.
And just as we were getting ready to call it a day well lived, I realized I hadn't blipped!
So here is the last lamp to be turned off in our home. The shade was hand cut by my grandmother over 70 years ago.
