Samba!
The kids have had more fun learning about Brazil than the 'boys' have had, playing in Brazil! Today we finished the topic with a samba afternoon, which involved dancing, cocktails (fizzy water and squash and home-made cocktail umbrellas!) and lots of marching about with various percussion instruments. Hot, hot, hot!
This evening we went for what is becoming our 'regular' cycle - a there and back route with a stop in the middle for a drink at a very posh brasserie. Apologies to the diners for the offputting spectacle of two middle aged folk in wicking cycling gear.
The wildlife 'haul' for the evening included, goldfinch - nearly flew into my wheel; curlews with chicks; oyster catchers, lapwings, a hare, a quite annoyed turkey and 3 peacocks.
Planning a monster of a ride tomorrow. Gulp.
