Jump!

We travelled north today to spend the weekend at a place called Cleveley Mere. Mr A's sister Laura booked an 'Ashley' family weekend so we are booked in two of the nicest cabins I've ever stayed in!

Mr A , myself, Laura & Steve are in the Fin Lodge and Mark (brother), Kaye (niece) & Dad are in the Badgers Lodge. Mum should have been coming too but Mark's dogsitter let him down so she gallantly stepped in to save the day, but this means she misses out on the weekend :-(

The place itself is lovely; we had a BBQ (I ovened my food as I don't like barbie's) followed by a walk round the lake, where we watched the fish jumping for midges.

I had a fab time on the trampoline not jumping for midges and Mr A found the den and more importantly, the drumkit. The least said about that the better!!

Tomorrow we are planning a lap of the lake; not sure of this will be by boat, kayak, canoe or pedaloe yet!
There are also mountain bikes available for use so we might have a ride on those too.
