Are we there yet!?

Our month long South East Asian vacation is on it's first legs....at McDonalds.

Waiting in Shenzhen (our home for the year) for our flight to Bangkok.

Traveling can be stressful so it will be good to finally get to where we need to be.

It's going to be an adventure to start off though.

We have a three hour flight, followed by clearing customs. We hope to achieve this by 3am.

Then we need to get a taxi to take us to the bus station (5 min. away...hopefully).

From there, we are hoping to catch a 3:30am bus that will take us close to the border of Cambodia.

We hope it will then be 8am.

Close to the boder, we are hoping to find a tuk-tuk that will take us to the border.


From there, we hope to find a man who our hostel has arranged to help us with the visa paperwork and getting to our arranged taxi to the hostel which is another 2 hours away.

Did I mention we have to avoid all the potential scams and pickpockets along the way!


Did I mention there are a lot of "hopes" and "from theres..."

Can't wait for the adventure, but we'll be glad to get to our hostel in Cambodia to take a nap before taking South East Asia all in.....

Here we come!!!
