The world visits...

and life in Inverclyde goes on...

Driving home from work this evening, as I neared my house, I could see our global visitors were on their way to their next stop. Seeing a gorgeous big ship leaving our beautiful port is a sight I'll never tire of.

As the footballing world visits Brazil and tourists from some far off land visit inverclyde, I'm reminded that the world seems much smaller.

Try telling that to the runner - pounding along the Esplanade - every step probably feeling a mile long.
