Grey Heron

Was at the Cathkin Marsh this afternoon (Thanks Sheila.....) and it was quite busy with photographers and bird watchers. Saw many nice things, both in bird life and plants, but I liked this photo of the grey heron taken from the hide. It was a toss up between this one and this but in the end I thought the one with the heron and the greylag goose was not so sharp, so chose the single heron picture. The greylags had a family of five young.
