Today should have been a *really* dull: a trip to London with a chap, Andrew, whom I've met a few times, to check out some software at the appallingly named ExCel London.

Except that, even before we'd set off, it was a rather good day. Firstly, Andrew managed to get cheap first class tickets there and back plus, on the day, it turned out we had far more in common than I'd realised. Combined with taxi rides across London and good pub lunch, it turned out to be really enjoyable.

Even the exhibition, which was, indeed, terribly dull, was saved when I came across the PRS stand and I was able to ask the people there about the licencing I'd need for podcasting ElectronicEars (Kirkby-Lonsdale's-favourite-radio-show-dedicated-to-electronic-music). The people on the stand were really helpful and even gave me this bag :-)
