Golden Globe Flowers

.... were everywhere above Leysin today, glowing in the sunshine. This is one of my favourite local places and all the more special because today I was walking with the naturalist, Eugène Huttenmoser. At 75, he still walks in the mountains EVERY DAY!
Here is Eugène, completely protected against the sun as his skin is so delicate.
