And I think very many of them were there today, such a crush and such a huge variety of humanity. Shops and restaurants on both sides, and more down each side street!! And the road to get to Taksim Square (where it leads from) is so steep they drilled a metro line from Kabatas on the coast - thank my stars or else I'd have given it a miss...
