English Longhorn cattle
We went up to Cromarty to pick up a few bits and pieces and hoped to pick up a blip too but there was nothing to inspire me. It was overcast so the light was pretty low. So on the way home I asked Mike to go'up and over' the longer way home near Raddery. I had seen a lovely painted farm sign that I thought would make a good blip but as we went over the hill the view down to the Point looked interesting with a couple of boats and a tractor busy hay making. Then abit further on these two English Longhorns were sitting in just the right place. You can also see all the new houses that have been built on the right hand side. They have actually done quite a good job and the estate is neat and tidy. Still a few more to be built.
We're off early tomorrow on our journey to Orkney. All the ferries were fully booked except for the 4.30pm so we'll have a slow drive up and stop off for breakfast and lunch.
