Porty People and Places

An expedition to a medical consultation this morning. A view like this reminds us all how lucky we are to live in Edinburgh. It was my first journey through town since the trams have begun operating again We were on the trusty 26 bus I hasten to add! I was surprised to see only two trams both travelling west and both barely a third full. I worry what happens when a tram breaks down. There seem to be no loops and very few crossing points. Warsaw, by contrast, with some thirty plus lines has excellent provision for handling such incidents. (Silly me - I was forgetting that the super tram will never breakdown!)
