Ladybird v Greenfly

I found this ladybird yesterday on our cucumber plant and transferred it one of the roses to eat the greenfly.
For years we'd heard and read that they do this voraciously but haven't actually witnessed it until today.
In this photo it is on our other rose that also had loads of greenfly. As soon as I'd placed it onto a bud it got to work and the other aphids scarpered.

I would have preferred a closer shot, but I couldn't work out how to use my son's camera!
