Cute Kid

OK so I have started back blipping my week long cycle tour of the Western Isles and what better way to kick it off with a cute Scottish baby animal. This was one of a pair of gorgeous Aberdeen Angus calves which were roaming around in Glen Lonan. It's a shame I can't blip more than one image as I have lots of other shots, particularly of the beautiful demoiselle damselflies which were abundant here.

As I know what's coming next, you'll get another animal tomorrow, but it will be wilder than this one and definitely not as cute. We are taking a day trip out to Tiree on the Ferry from Oban but the weather is looking grim - ah well, this is Scotland after all.

off the London Sleeper at Bridge of Orchy, cycle down Glen Orchy on B8074 adjacent to the river Orchy (saw Salmon jumping), A85 to Taynuilt, Glen Lonan to Oban Approx. 40 miles.
