34 Weeks

Spent today getting the house sorted so it's respectable to have guests over. We're nearly there and have 2 hours free tomorrow morning to finish the job. Should be easy.

I had a leaving party at work today. I still have 2 1/2 weeks to go but a couple of the girls i work closely with are off overseas soon so it was good to have it with them still there. The company all pitched in and bought us a tumble dryer but still we got individual presents from quite a few people. It was very exciting, and tomorrow is the official shower so there will only be more to come. The 'eviction notice' in my photo is my card from work.

One friend at work made a card up with 26 guesses at what the baby's name is, one for every letter of the alphabet. Each included the letter O and 7 letters (our clues to date). I felt really bad to have to tell her that even with that list, it still wasn't on there. Can't wait to put her out of her misery when he's born.

Interestingly no one has guessed the name to date. We wouldn't tell them even if they had, but it's not that uncommon that no one should have come up with it yet... Well, we didn't think so anyway...
