'Alpacas'

Spotted a herd of Alpacas on the back road home tonight so stopped off to see if I could coax them over to the fence for a close up, but they didn't seem very interested in the handful of grass I was offering.

The sun had a brilliant warm glow tonight and I stopped again 5 minutes later and took some shots of the bright Winter sun washing over a nearby vineyard, but couldn't go past this sweet looking alpaca.

Winter solstice tomorrow and we've got a couple of events booked it to celebrate at. As of tomorrow we turn the corner and head towards Summer once again, and longer days.
