Dandelion type seedhead

Looks like a dandelion seed head but it's much bigger (about 2-3 inches across the "pom-pom")...

Amused by the tiny black, explosive bolts (well if it was NASA designed they would be...) that hold the seeds onto the head...

In the foreground are two vacated spaces - where I had to activate/remove a couple of them with tweezers, to help the lens "see" the interior..!
