Alta Lake walk

Michael was out bright and early this morning to do Whistler's famous downhill mountain biking.
Once I made my more leisurely way in, I browsed some shops and got some hiking advice from the Visitor Centre.

In the afternoon, we set off to see Alta Lake. This is pretty much where Whistler started, and has become a beautiful (and affluent) area. As we were on foot we were able to explore some of the narrower alleys, stumbling across some hidden artistic gems- giant deck chairs!
We finally made it to Rainbow Park, and because it was so warm and sunny we stopped for a sunbathe on the grass.. With views of the snow topped mountains.
