A different slant on empty nest syndrome

I had the nest from after a storm and by pure chance found the egg in the garden as I looked for a spot to put nest with stones in it. No idea how long the egg had lain there-months I imagine as it was very fragile nd broke as soon as I tried to shift it. Got this one decent shot.
