Knock on wood

This woodpecker came by to visit this morning. He was kind enough to wait for me to get my camera, change lenses and take a few shots too. Very colourful guy. I can see that I am going to have to become a bird watcher if I am to make the most of our new environment. There's a few humming birds that are far less obliging and never wait for me to get my camera!

Enjoying today with our guests. We explored a few new places and when we got home my son and I took turns on the ride on mower. I would never have imagined mowing the grass in a vehicle with a cup holder!
