Midnight's children

20 years ago this August we arrived here with three cats: Cato, Tom and Daisy. One week later Daisy doubled the feline population when she gave birth to 3 kittens in the dressing-up box. Their names were immediately pronounced to be Lightning, Midnight and Shadow.

Midnight went on to bear many kittens of which Cobweb and Tablet were two: half-siblings with different fly-by-night fathers. Cobweb must be in her 18th year at least and her brother a couple of years younger.
