Not a Sudoku Puzzle!

I didn't know how to tell when the rinse aid reservoir in our (German) dishwasher needed to be topped up. I've been filling it randomly when I think about it, but I didn't want it to run dry during a wash, so I consulted the instruction manual. As I turned the pages, I found this diagram showing how to load the silverware in the rack.

All the time I've been doing it wrong -- I'm such a dummkopf!
