29. hornbeam hop

Went to the botanic gardens today with a friend and her little one. We came across this hornbeam hop tree. Although I studied forestry I’m absolutely hopeless at tree identification. People always expect me to know them and I have to explain that I’m more interested in the relationship between people and forests. Excuses, I know. |||
