Balfour Castle

This is Balfour Castle on the island of Shapinsay, just a stone's throw away from Kirkwall (or 25 minutes on a very slow ferry). It encompasses the largest wooded area in Orkney and is now mostly a playground for rich people, and quite impressive to look at. Had a lovely lunch on Shapinsay today, seeing a friend I hadn't seen in a long while (it really is good being able to get out of the house again!!), did a bit of shopping and then headed to a photography job I will be working on for the next few days - my camera better not give up again!
