Is it slightly premature to get the wet street cleaner out when the thaw is still mid melt and -1c forecast? I haven't flipped this photo so it's slightly disconcerting to find the driver operating this from the passenger side. Maybe he's stopped for something - hard to tell.

Went to see the new 'doc' today, seems like a kindly and professional chap. Encouraging.

Back to town this afternoon to meet with other students. We're compiling a student anthology. The person who had the idea has done vast amounts of fantastic work to get it off the ground, funded etc. Submission deadline tomorrow; let the selection begin.
