KINGFISHER 7

Here's a bit of animal behaviour. The kingy's often regurgitate their food. They land on these perches with a crab and they commence beating the legs off it one each side of where they are perching. - WHACK WACK WACK ! they go.
sometimes they dont get it beaten into shape and they get indigestion and have to burp it up ( as seen here ) the next photo I have of it falling out of its mouth.
sad we only get one picture a day !!
Today was a good day in the hide - about 150 pics taken and about 35 saved.
at one stage I had three birds within my range.
whoopee - much better fun than fuzzy wuzzies ( see yesterday)
