Evening View from Gillies Hill
I joined a group of villagers on a guided walk up Gillies Hill, lead by local expert Peter P.
His knowledge of the history of the hill and indeed of Cambusbarron is extensive and although we walk the hill regularly I still learned a few interesting things this evening.
It is also unusual to be at the top of Touchadam Craig in the evening and the view on such a beautiful one was superb.
This viewpoint would probably disappear if quarrying resumed.
