Badgerstone Relay
A peerless evening on the moor tonight for the Badgerstone Relay. Just 2 miles a leg - a bit of painful up, dreamy traily run along the top then a proper bit of descent before a "keep you honest" sharp climb to hand over to the next one in the team.
Helped by the fine weather, the sheer joy of running, the relief of finishing, a lovely family thing going on and camaraderie of fellow runners it was joy for all. I met up with old friends, made some new acquaintances including Kez who made up our team with Rach -YofH. Kes and Rach made the grittiest finishes and after that dreadful post run hypoxic, lactic acid dip both smiled a million miles with all the other finishers.
Here blipped is the post run craic as we wait for the last runners - included in the shot one non runner tonight , can you work out which is MrJohn?
Oh and I finally said hello to Sarah before the race, we have a number of mutual friends but this was the first time we'd met and she gave me the biggest shout of encouragement on the course.
