Water of Leith at Roseburn

It was a lovely hot sunny afternoon, so I decided to have a walk along part of the Water of Leith that I haven't done before - the stretch from Saughton Park to Roseburn. It's a strange combo of countryside and town along there, as you have the pretty river bank with lots of wildlife, Saughton Park and Roseburn Park at either end, and right alongside it the busy railway and tram line/schools/houses/Murrayfield Stadium etc. I suppose that's one of the good things about Edinburgh - it has loads of green spaces right within the city that have escaped development!

I think I must've passed this part of town on the train many times and not really noticed, so I will pay more attention from the other viewpoint next time!
