Kite festival

Visited the local Kite festival on the occasion of Sankranti with a few photographer friends from office. It was a crowded affair before the lake, the stench of which left enthusiasts undeterred. There was much to see, much to capture with a little bit of patience. The enthusiasm of the kids is contagious. There's much they remind us about. It was great seeing people of various segments of society celebrating together.

What followed soon after was a fine dinner at Eat Street, some laughter and back at home the concluding episodes of Boston Legal. I'm afraid they lost all semblance of subtlety in the end.

But all in all, a very fine holiday in the middle of the week where almost everything seemed to go right.
