Grand Depart York Style

We were in York this evening for a small event on Hob Moor. As we drove down Tadcaster Road I spotted this outside a York hotel.

I remember this hotel well when I was at school on the other side of the rave course. Our cross country run was across the Knavesmire to touch the C of the then Chase Hotel before running back. An easy lesson for the PE teacher who just had to watch from the school field.
