Come down, it's bedtime!

Not a great shot I know, but I vividly remember as a child in the summertime being told to go to bed when it was still gloriously sunny outside and I wanted to play. It seemed so unfair. Now I'm doing the same to Nancy.

I had just finished watering the greenhouse, which has gone mad! Our first cucumber of the year is nearly ready and there are lots more on the way. The tomatoes have started to flower and the basil is flourishing. There is nothing nicer than picking a still-warm tomato straight from the plant, putting a fresh basil leaf on top and eating it. And there'll be enough basil soon to make pesto!
